AML / KYC APPLICATION ADMINISTRATOR (LA/NY/NJ - Hybrid)

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

The Application Administrator will support one or several applications and the associated technical environment. The Application Administrator is an experienced, fully proficient professional with full understanding and in-depth knowledge of discipline. Solves complex problems, takes a new perspective on using existing solutions

Technology and Innovation Division

As a member of City National's Technology & Innovation group, you will drive, develop, and maintain solutions for clients and colleagues. This is an exciting time of technology advancement and innovation across the bank, particularly within our technology teams.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• DR (Disaster Recovery) planning and participation in DR tests. Will understand how to set up, maintain and cutover to DR.
• Set-up, administration and support of interfaces and APIs
• Application environmental set-up, administration and support
• Will assist with the Technology Lifecycle Management Program for technology asset management.
• Researching and implementing new technology per project and support needs
• Vendor, T&I (Technology & Innovation) and business user liaison
• Implement and support new software versions and new versions of systems software. This will include setting up software in development, QA, Production and DR environments.
• Application support, issue management and escalation
• Will understand application use and access
• Incident and Problem Management including during and post-incident analysis.
• Middleware configuration, administration and support
• Set-up and support of workflow and job scheduler software
• Provide technical assistance to projects.
• SLA management and reporting for applications
• May use specialist knowledge in one or several applications and supporting environment

What Do You Need To Succeed

Must-Have*

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years of IT experience
• Knowledge of databases, hardware support, Cloud deployment and support and tools for application and systems administration
• Minimum 5 years in Application Administration
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Microsoft Office, Project, and SharePoint.

Skills And Knowledge

• Knowledge of Windows server operating systems and environments.
• Middleware configuration knowledge (e.g. WebSphere, WebLogic, MQ) strongly preferred
• Knowledge of SQL and/or Oracle databases. Ability to write SQL queries.
• Knowledge of scripting and script automation
• Interface, API, workflow and job controller set up and support experience preferred.
• Disaster Recovery
• Vendor Management
• Must have KYC (know Your Client) Prefer 2-5 years OR experience with Fraud tools (multi-factor authentication, machine learning, AI) Prefer 5 years

Compensation

Starting base salary: $87,027 - $138,965 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
