JOB SUMMARY
As a Salesforce Admin, you will be responsible for supporting our user base, maintaining day-to-day processes as well as playing an integral part in optimizing and enhancing our Salesforce applications by gathering requirements from our users and turning them into solutions to meet the evolving needs of the business.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Experience working within an agile software development environment
  • Manage multiple projects on both an ongoing and an ad-hoc basis, working collaboratively across the organization from requirements to post-implementation support
  • Responsible for analysis, design, configuration, test, document and implementing changes/enhancements for Salesforce solutions company wide
  • Sales Cloud and Service Cloud experience required
  • Keeping up with new Salesforce features and functionality and providing recommendations for process improvements
  • Daily administration, configuration and support of the Salesforce platform including but not limited to managing user setup, profiles and roles, customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts and validations
  • Performs other related duties as directed by supervisor
  • Responsible for troubleshooting issues and working with the users and technical teams to resolve them in a timely manner
  • Create and maintain customized reports and dashboards
  • Responsible for maintaining the functional areas including but not limited to account and contact management, cases, orders, communities, managed packages, and complex integrations, and ensuring data integrity throughout our Salesforce system
  • Train new and existing users on how to use Salesforce functions and custom applications
  • Lightning platform experience required
  • Work with our end users to gather requirements and understand the business needs
  • Create and maintain complex workflow rules, data validation, and triggers
  • When required, to work extended hours to resolve critical issues and to complete tasks that cannot be performed during normal business hours

Minimum Required Qualifications (External):
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience
  • 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field, or equivalent work experience
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
  • Organizational and time management skills to prioritize work
  • Ability to work in a team environment and mentor/train other team members
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Business acumen including a good sense of how Salesforce can be utilized to improve business processes
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • Ability to learn and apply new skills and concepts quickly
  • Ability and willingness to split time between support and implementing enhancements
  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups and difficult customers
  • Ability to set technical direction for a project or application
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Computer Skills
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite
  • General technical acumen on managed technology and platform
Language Skills
  • English (reading, writing, verbal)
Mathematical Skills
  • Basic level mathematical proficiency, with a strong ability to understand, interpret and develop spreadsheet data

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is a stationary position that requires frequent sitting or standing, repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
