KONE Kazakhstan falls under the umbrella of Middle East & Africa (KMEA) and is embarking upon an exciting growth phase in the Kazakhstan market. KONE Kazakhstan continues to focus on growth to support the Global and Local “Sustainable Winning with Customers” strategy. To complement our growth plans we have an exciting Salesperson – New Equipment Business (NEB) open.
Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, we are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Salesperson - New Equipment Business to be based in our Astana office. In this role, you will ensure proactiveness and efficiency of the New Equipment Business (NEB) Sales. The role supports NEB Sales by taking care of lead handling, booking customer meetings, as well as contacting customers by phone or via online channels while maintaining sales planning and sales funnel actions.

What you will do:
  • Creates and communicates leads and sales opportunities for entire KONE sales team (e.g. cross-selling);
  • Highly motivated, goal oriented, diligent, organized self-starter with an orientation towards a high level of customer service;
  • Ensures customer satisfaction and solves complaints with the rest of KONE team;
  • Creates and communicates leads and sales opportunities for entire KONE sales team (e.g. cross-selling);
  • Focus on growing KONE’s position in his/her customer base or market area;
  • Encourage an interest and demonstrate the value of KONE’s digital offering to influencers and customers;
  • Proactively develops and creates customer relationships in his/her area of responsibility;
  • Request technical know-how from Customer Solutions Engineering (CSE) in tendering phase in non-standard cases and according to local policy;
  • Develops and grows KONE’s position in his/her customer base or market area;
  • Work closely with the Country Operations and Global NEB teams to ensure profitable growth.
  • In early phases of projects, drive solution selling methodology with architects, developers, consultants and/or other influencers to ensure KONE solutions are meeting customer’s needs;
  • Documents the customer and contact information, responsible for correct customer, influencer and contact data in CRM;
  • Be accountable for updating customer in formation currently in CRM;
  • Creates interest and demonstrates value of KONE digital offering to influencers and customers;
  • In early phases of projects, drives solution selling methodology with architects and developers, consultants or other influencers to ensure KONE solutions are meeting customer’s needs and creating value throughout the lifecycle taking into account whole KONE product portfolio;
  • Create, nurture and develop customer relationships in his/her area of responsibility;
  • Ensure top customer satisfaction and solve complaints with the rest of KONE team;
Are you the one?
  • 3 - 5 years’ technical experience in the elevator/escalator industry is preferred but not mandatory;
  • 3 - 5 years’ technical experience the construction, building material or related industry;
  • Passion for sales, with a proven track record and a strong customer focus;
  • Highly motivated, goal oriented, diligent, organized self-starter with an orientation towards a high level of customer service;
  • Diploma or higher in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil)
  • Russian and English communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
