DESCRIPTION
As a Product Specialist reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for sales activities related to Guldmann Lift equipment to assigned accounts in the Pacific Northwest. You will maintain a current and competent level of knowledge on our product line and be able to be a reliable source of information to the health care professionals in your territory. With a focus on Acute Care facilities, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with health care professionals, supporting the promotional efforts behind our products and maintaining current and competent level of knowledge of Guldmann equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with team members when multiple units are assigned to ensure synergy throughout an assigned project.
- Provide reports on the budget and sales activity for a given period.
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and/or complaints.
- Share ideas and customer needs throughout all phases of the product life cycle.
- Contact customers regularly to maintain account relationships, advise of new product and service offerings, and obtain feedback on products.
- Develop and implement strategies to maintain and/or expand sales within the assigned geographical areas.
- Share details with customers on additional offerings to provide value-added service.
- Interface with the customer to understand the customer's overall objectives and requirements.
- Participate in trade shows by representing the organization and sharing information on products.
- Provide feedback on competitors, markets, products, ideas, laws and regulations, and other market information.
- Perform any onsite research required to confirm customer requirements and site conditions.
- Prepare and conduct technical and product presentations and demonstrations.
- Assist in forecasts for the product(s) within assigned territory.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university with two plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
