Compensation: $60,000 - $65,000 / year


Description


Are you ready to soar in the dynamic world of aviation? We are seeking a passionate and driven Sales Assistant to join our team and embark on an exciting journey within the aviation industry. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support to our sales team, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service for our valued clients. If you have a love for aviation, impeccable attention to detail, and a desire to excel in a fast-paced environment, this is the opportunity you've been waiting for!


Key Responsibilities


  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records related to sales activities, clients, and prospects.
  • Source aircraft options for clients as needed.
  • Schedule travel arrangements for sales team members, including flights, accommodations, and transportation.
  • Travel to attend meetings, conventions, and networking events, both locally and occasionally out of town.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the sales team by drafting and editing emails, memos, and other communications.
  • Manage the sales team's calendar, including scheduling appointments and prioritizing urgent matters.
  • Run errands as required to support the sales team's activities.
  • Assist in preparing proposals for clients by gathering necessary information and organizing it in a professional manner.
  • Answer phone calls in a professional and courteous manner, redirecting inquiries as appropriate.
  • Organize and coordinate meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, and arranging catering if necessary.
  • Perform minor accounting duties, such as generating and processing invoices.


Skills, Knowledge And Expertise


  • Previous experience as an administrative, personal, or executive assistant is preferred.
  • Availability to attend after-hours networking events.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen attention to accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Availability for after-hour travel, scheduling, and other job-related needs.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and cccess to a working vehicle
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel occasionally.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving ability.
