Job Description
The Mudflap mobile app connects professional truck drivers with fuel stops in the $800B trucking industry. We help SMB trucking companies save thousands of dollars on fuel (their #1 business expense), while providing our fuel stop partners with access to new, hard-to-reach customers. We're growing quickly and are looking for a new customer-obsessed teammate to join us on this journey.


Mudflap is an operational business that runs billions of dollars in transaction volume every year. As an Operations Manager at Mudflap, you will ensure that Mudflap's operations are running efficiently and most importantly, resulting in a world class customer experience.


In this role, you will:


  • Assess current tools and systems to identify operational gaps. Determine need for new tools and lead their implementation
  • Present recommendations and results to management and key decision-makers
  • Establish and track weekly and monthly KPIs - understand what is working and what is not - make recommendations on how to improve along the way
  • Work closely with cross-functional Merchant and Driver teams to create and improve operational workflows and processes
  • Identify, own and publish operational OKRs and KPIs which will drive positive engagement and usage across Mudflap


You have:


  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • Familiarity with CRM systems such HubSpot and Gong
  • Familiarity with Customer Support systems and tools such Zendesk and Intercom
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and initiatives
  • Proven work experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar role
  • Experience implementing new end-to-end workflows and processes from scratch for new, future products
  • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The salary range for this role is $120,000 - $170,000. This information reflects a base salary range for this position based on current market data, which may be subject to change as new market data becomes available. The candidate's skills, experience, and other relevant factors will determine the exact compensation. This position may also be eligible for additional incentives such as equity awards or short-term incentives. Our benefits include medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, WFH stipend and PTO.
