Job Description


The VP of Revenue Cycle Operations is the business leader for the overall strategy and performance of the assigned suite of Patient Financial Services and accounts receivable resolution clients. This position is a member of the Senior Leadership team, responsible to set strategy, goals, objectives and KPIs for the organization. As the key contact and Virtual Workforce Account Manager, the VP ensures that the on-site team performs to performance metrics and standards of the Yield Performance System model and the specific client requirements. The VP collaborates and provides mentorship to the virtual team related to strategy, priorities, and workforce development; ensuring that objectives are routinely met on time. The VP manages the fulfillment of all P&L objectives for the suite of clients under his/her purview.

Job Duties And Responsibilities


  • Responsible for all process activities performed by the virtual workforce for each client.
  • Manages vendor relationships, as necessary.
  • Serves as primary contact for service-facing issues, presentations, and communications with clients to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer’s needs and objectives.
  • Provides direction to managers and staff relative to compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor new process and technology initiatives to ensure alignment with client needs
  • Learn and fully understand the details of all processes and all technology that are used to deliver services to clients
  • Provides ongoing workforce and leadership development for the virtual workforce team members.
  • Develops presentations and other required communication material for client-facing conversations.
  • Participates as a member of the Senior Leadership Team in setting strategic plan, goals and KPIs
  • Serves as SME for sales pursuits and identify new opportunities in collaboration with the sales team to ensure growth.
  • Assures the breadth and depth of qualified human resources (recruitment and training, retention) to support the Company’s rapid and well-managed growth and to provide for the orderly succession of management and key departmental team members.
  • Monitors KPI milestones to proactively resolve potential issues.


Qualifications


  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma
  • Experience working with various healthcare professionals, such as, clinicians, clerical, insurance company representative, executives, and line staff.
  • Experience with managing remote/virtual working teams.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in leadership of medical revenue cycle outsourcing
  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • 5 years of experience managing both Physician and Hospital PFS AR outsourcing operations
  • Experience with a wide variety of healthcare providers and provider service offerings

  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies
  • Skilled in directing people, processes, and clients.
  • Openness to learning a yield-based approach to prioritizing and managing accounts receivable results.
  • Skilled in effective verbal and written communications
  • Knowledge of rules and regulations relative to Healthcare Revenue Cycle Administration
  • Skilled in making decisions and taking action with a focus on speed to value.
  • Skilled in Revenue Cycle outsourcing performance and leadership
  • Ability to work and lead in a high-performance work team environment.
  • Knowledge of AR outsourcing management practices & expectations
