Summary:
Worley's Diversity & Inclusion network performs an integral role in the ongoing development of our corporate culture and commitment to achieving our purpose and ambition.
Duties/Responsibilities:
D&I Strategy:
- Bring outside-in thinking, strong domain thoughts and best practices to determine key priorities
- Using maturity models, help to identify the D&I journey for Worley over a series of horizons
- Embed D&I goals and efforts into the Worley wide systems and processes to drive accountability and impact
- Help shape the D&I strategy to deliver on D&I goals and drive business performance with the D&I Director
D&I program/policy/practice implementation:
- Recommend enhancements to D&I objectives/policy/plans and activities in line with best practice and organizational requirements.
- Work with procurement to manage the request for tender and proposals from tenders
- Identify external partners who can bring skills and capabilities to Worley that help deliver our projects
- Help develop programs of work with internal colleagues or external partners that deliver on the strategy
- Provide input into other programs of work (ie remuneration, leadership, talent identification and attraction) that ensures D&I is prioritised and built into practices
- Help to develop success measures related to D&I initiatives and understand how to measure impact
D&I governance:
- Support the Global D&I Council in their governance and responsibilities.
- Ensure that the People Network Group format and structures are effective and enhance the ability of Worley employees to get involved and make a difference
Reporting and Metrics:
- Liaise where required with locations who are legally obliged to provide jurisdictional reports in D&I activity such as WGEA (Australia) Gender pay gap reporting (Australia and UK). Provide feedback and input as required
- Responsibility/Sustainability, Performance Report, Diversity & Inclusion Board reporting).
- Undertake data review and analytics work with the people analytics team to understand progress and opportunities
- Provide data and shape the narratives for Diversity and Inclusion external reporting (ASX, Annual Report, Investor surveys, Corporate
D&I Networks:
- Respond to ad-hoc requests from Board, Group Executive Corporate Responsibility and others on D&I queries.
- Ensure that good ideas from regions and locations are expanded and reused across Worley
- Manage external party relationships related to D&I programs such as STEM education, Ally, Catalyst and others as identified.
- Co-ordinate and influence the internal D&I community to ensure efforts are co-ordinated and produce results
- Represent Worley at relevant Industry / D&I events.
- Work alongside the regional D&I leaders to ensure they are able to support and deliver enterprise wide initiatives, but also help them to shape their regional priorities
Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
- Ability to speak confidently on D&I topics, provide strong thought leadership on best practices and emerging trends to guide the organization
- Experience in shaping and delivering a D&I strategy and initiatives that have produced tangible results for the people and organisation
- Experience in program and change management, especially in driving change related to topics of D&I
- Ability to use data and analytics to shape priorities, guide leaders and differentiate program success
- Experience in managing internal and external partners to deliver programs of work with impact
- Strong communication skills and an understanding of how to shape narratives for employees, leaders and other key stakeholders
- Able to express a point of view on D&I topics, and also be able to connect them to business priorities and strategies
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence key stakeholders on key projects or change initiatives
- Experience in driving change and D&I impact in complex matrixed organisations is ideal.
