Recruiter, Entry Level - - Columbus

Well-established, highly successful, and rapidly growing Midwest-based home remodeling leader seeks a dynamic, hard-working, high-integrity, entry-level recruiter.

The Entry-Level Recruiter is responsible for recruiting for our growing businesses and will play the lead role in our sales and corporate recruiting efforts for our corporate office, as well as our branch offices. The Entry Leve Recruiter will have a major role in sourcing and screening for our hiring needs, as well as collaborating with managers in the organization to meet hiring goals.

The Entry-Level Recruiter will report directly to Talent Acquisition Manager and will support company efforts and will assist in creating and publishing job ads, interviewing candidates, managing ATS functions and processes, providing accurate reporting on recruiting activities, and maintaining and improving our employer brand, ensuring we attract and hire people who contribute to our company's growth.

Entry-Level Recruiter Job Functions

• Collaborate with management to assist in meeting staffing needs
• Research & implement new methods to recruit target candidates
• Review resumes for fit with open positions
• Perform reference and other types of background check duties
• Mine resume databases and other sources for passive candidates
• Update our applicant management system
• Perform initial phone screens and schedule first interviews
• Create and post job openings on a variety of job boards/sites

Qualifications:

• Highly organized
• Outgoing, positive, and persuasive
• Expert technical skills, including use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities efficiently and meet assigned deadlines
• Experience using recruiting management systems, a plus
• Minimum of 2 years prior recruiting, marketing, sales or customer service experience
• Self-motivated

Qualifications:

• Proven track record of recruiting to company needs and maintaining bench depth
• 2+ years of experience in HR and recruiting required
• Experience with a wide variety of recruiting tactics and approaches
• High emotional intelligence with the ability to build strong interpersonal relationships
• Proficient in administering and interpreting pre-hire assessments and testing instruments
• Background in recruiting or sales, a plus
• Insatiable drive and a strong aptitude for creating and maintaining the best recruiting approaches for our organization
• Bachelor's degree required (psychology, organizational leadership, HR preferred)
• Self-motivated with grit, high energy, and the ability to be 100% focused and dedicated to seeing employees, and the organization, succeed.
