Job Description
As the Real Estate Manager for UCLA's Office of Gift Planning, your work will ensure that our donor's planned and outright gifts of property not only maximize tax benefits and income for life but also create a legacy that will make a difference in areas important to them. You will be provided with a secure and supportive environment where you can expand your real estate experience and abilities while working with our donors to ensure the proper administration of their real property gifts. This is a remarkable opportunity to extend your real estate knowledge into gift planning and its administration. UCLA's Office of Gift Planning strives to provide the highest level of philanthropic services to donors who want to share of themselves to create a lasting legacy through the facilitation and integration of our donors' charitable interest with their overall tax, estate and financial plans. You will become part of a creative, cohesive and innovative team that offers long-term opportunities for personal and professional development as part of our robust External Affairs enterprise serving UCLA.
As an integral and valued member of UCLA's planned gift administration team, you will manage a high level of on-going projects and transactions related to gifts of real property donated to the UCLA Foundation, related legal entities and the UC Regents. Working in partnership with the Director of Planned Gift Administration, you will be responsible for conducting all activities related to real property. Using established guidelines, policies and procedures, as our Real Estate Manager, you will serve as a centralized resource for a broad array of information. In this role, you will bring your real estate expertise, keen attention to detail, ability to deliver superb customer service and exceptional organization skills to determine assessments, address concerns and resolve issues related to the evaluation, appropriate acceptance process, and henceforth management for gifts of real property to the UCLA Foundation, related legal entities and the UC Regents. You will also have the opportunity to manage other real estate and gift planning projects and responsibilities as needed as part of the planned gift administration team.

Required/Preferred
1. Experience working in the real estate field (e.g., salesperson, escrow officer, property manager), or in the legal field related to real estate with demonstrated knowledge and understanding of basic real estate principals and transactions.

2. Previous exposure and capacity to read, comprehend and interpret legal and business documents.

3. Analytical skills to accurately and thoroughly evaluate a wide variety of information, transactions and activities, identify and resolve problems.
