Real Estate Paralegal Jobs

Responsibilities

Our sophisticated boutique law firm is looking for an organized paralegal familiar with the forms used in California residential and commercial real estate transactions (purchases, loans, easements, lot line adjustments), title insurance policies and endorsements, with extensive experience drafting deeds, real estate contracts and forming and maintaining business entities. This position requires a self-starter with excellent communication skills and an eye for detail to assist our clients to evaluate and conclude complex, fast-paced, high-end transactions in many states and countries.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years' experience in a transactional real estate or corporate department of a major law firm is essential to having familiarity with the demands, writing and organizational skills needed for this position.

Ability to research Codes and legal journals to summarize information accurately and succinctly, and to think creatively to problem solve challenging real estate and business issues.

Bachelor's degree required.

Knowledge of and specific experience editing CAR and AIA real estate forms is essential.

Must be able to modify, redline and format documents quickly using Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and be competent to display rental and leasing data in Quickbooks and Excel.

Familiarity with timesheets and client billing is a plus.
