The ideal candidate will have:

• Project lead experience via IATF Audit 16949 & Process Control leadership
• A bachelor's Degree in Engineering is preferred, but highly detailed acumen experience considered
• 5+ years in a Quality role within an Automotive Manufacturing environment
• Six Sigma certification & and highest preference given toSix Sigma Black Belt

TheQuality Managerwill proactively lead the quality procedures to ensure company production performance while supporting vendor satisfaction. Work with multiple teams throughout the plant during projects and production runs positively.

Day to Day execution:

• Supervision and development of team members not limited to quality team
• Maintain APQP documentation while assisting inspection through the Quality team
• Inspect production layouts and functionality through process control procedures
• Interpret, record, and deliver inspection reports as completed through design controls and GD&T call-outs
• Improve throughput via root cause analysis and develop effective corrective actions
• Support programs and standardization of production methods to increase Lean efficiencies including cost control and quality improvement
• Produce reporting on product usage and quality standards through analysis
• Evaluate plant processes to ensure the highest quality output while improving company standards
• Produce and participate in product studies to assist customers (occasional travel to customer sites may be required)
• Maintain all inspection records, documentation, and tests recorded
• Oversee plant quality rating and standardization methods
• Lead customer satisfaction and change methods with oversight of the customer feedback management system
• Facilitate through multiple departments to improve production quality

Starting Salary $120,000-$135,000
