L3Harris is seeking an Environmental Test Engineer to assist in running the operation of the Clifton Environmental Test facility. Candidate will be responsible for the completion of production Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) (Temperature, Vibration, Thermal Shock, Thermal Cycle) of all products produced in the Electronic Warfare sector. Test operations are conducted 24/7. Hands-on skills are required along with a good understanding of electronic circuits. Previous experience is a major plus, in addition to overall instrumentation experience. We may consider engineers for work on other shifts as well.

Essential Functions:

• Perform Environmental Testing- Temperature, Vibration, Thermal Shock, Thermal Cycle – of all products.
• Set up equipment, run, and monitor environmental test.
• Participate in department activities, such as Shop Meetings, processing of paperwork, communication, and tracking of issue resolution.
• Report and communicate information related to tests.
• Communicate with department team members regarding status and next actions.

Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance required.
• Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent and minimum 2 years of prior experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision upon completion of onboarding and training.
• Understanding of and ability to follow test procedures and traveler sequences appropriately.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Laboratory hands-on experience a plus.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
