We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Project Coordinator. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a vital role in assisting with the planning, execution, and completion of tree care and excavating projects. Your exceptional coordination and communication skills will contribute to the success of our operations, ensuring seamless project delivery, efficient logistical planning, and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices throughout project implementation.
- Continuously evaluate project performance and implement process improvements for increased efficiency and productivity.
- Coordinate and schedule tree care and excavating projects, including tree removals, pruning, planting, land clearing, grading, and other excavation activities.
- Resolve any project-related issues, troubleshoot challenges, and implement effective solutions.
- Assist in the recruitment and supervision of field staff, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and provide accurate cost estimates.
- Procure necessary permits, licenses, and equipment required for project execution.
- Collaborate with tree crew and machine operators to coordinate plans, schedules, and marketing for tree care and excavating projects.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure project requirements are clearly communicated and deadlines are met.
- Monitor project progress, track expenses, and prepare regular reports for management.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proven experience as a project coordinator or in a similar role within the tree care, excavating, or general construction industry.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred but not required).
