Project Manager
Remote (East Coast Hours) – East Coast Location preferred
Note: This role is on the PMO/Business side. NON-IT PM experience is required.
Requires: 3-5 years’ Project Manager experience (PMO Business side), including a minimum of 2 years in business analysis and experience with writing charters, working with leadership on strategy and problem-solving. Proficiency with PM software, ideally Monday.com, PowerPoint, Visio, Word, and Excel.
Our client is a well-respected professional organization serving the financial services industry, providing tools and services to help their members to assess and manage risk.
This role is an addition to their Project Management team that helps business owners to define scope, organize teams and work streams, identify, and manage risks, monitor progress, and ensure integrated execution to deliver projects on time and within budget. The organization is based in Philadelphia, PA, and prefers candidates located on the East Coast.
Responsibilities of the Project Manager (PMO-Business side, not IT):
· Support PMO planned Project, Program, and Portfolio maturity improvements at the organization
· Define project scope, goals, and deliverables
· Gather business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into functional and technical specifications
· Monitor and report on project progress for various stakeholders, including the executive leadership team
· Work directly with business users to analyze and troubleshoot existing operational procedures
Qualifications of the Project Manager (PMO-Business side, not IT):
· Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a Project Manager (PMO-Business side, not IT) managing multiple projects simultaneously and working with leadership to problem solve and strategize
· Minimum of 2 years in business analysis or a related field
· Significant experience writing charters
. Minimum of 3 years experience leading a project through all phases (initiation through transition/close) in a structured enterprise PMO. This includes experience with structured methodology, resource management, project planning, reports and documentation, and project execution. Key deliverables include charter creation, communication/training plans, resource plans, etc.
. Experience in operational projects like organizational changes is required
· Merger integrations experience and/or interest is a plus
. Experience in financial services or professional services industry preferred.
· Proficiency in project management software tools, including Monday.com, PowerPoint, Visio, Word, and Excel
· Superior facilitation and communication skills
· Experience managing deliverables in a fast-paced environment
