Job Description

The COE Procurement is a global team being setup to design and embed; capabilities, standards, performance, innovation and strategy across the newly established One Procurement organization within Fresenius Medical Care


Tasks:


Performance Management, Intelligence and Analytics

  • Manages the global category teams/Leads through the annual processes to identify, build and finalize initiative pipeline opportunities in the range of 10+ mio USD
  • Regular updates and reporting to Management Board or Business Executive Leadership
  • Global Tracking and presenting progress against Procurement savings targets and forecasted pipeline
  • Acts as the CoE (& P&P) SPOC; coordinating Category Management feedback and communicating opportunities to Global CoE
  • Supports the VP Pharma Procurement in; structuring and organizing their teams (internally), managing information & Comms flow to stakeholders (Externally)
  • Acts as an ambassador of Global Procurement and provides input to the development and deployment of the procurement vision and strategy
  • With the support of the analytics team, is responsible for regularly updating Pharma spend, savings and performance metrics, generating insights out of disparate data sources
  • Connectivity with G&A (e.g., Global Transformation Office, Compliance, Legal, HR, GIA, Tax, etc) to ensure that Procurement is aligned & well-connected with the various business functions
  • A triage point for issue resolution and risk identification in projects within and across the Category/PVA
  • Develops and maintains Market and Supplier Intelligence in support of the Pharma Procurement strategy


Organization Development

  • Leads initiatives and projects that exist beyond or outside category specific projects
  • Oversees the Management of Key Supplier Relationships in coordination with Category Leads
  • Ensures standards and best practice approaches are deployed in projects being delivered
  • Identifies, coordinates and implements organizational improvements (e.g. transformation, capability building, system and process adoption, sustainable procurement)
  • Coordinates and consolidates Risk Management activity


Requirements:


  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • 10+ years of professional experience in Pharma Procurement and/or Analytics and/project management.
  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary & multicultural team
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and lasting relationships with key stakeholders
  • Additional experience in change & communications, coupled with procurement or business roles is desirable
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (20%)
  • Ability to execute high quality (quantitative & qualitative) analyses to communicate a story to key stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills with ability to alternate between helicopter view and high attention to detail & accuracy
  • Diplomatic skills to influence others at all levels of the business and manage relationships with internal clients
  • Strong skills in creating and maintaining project and program plans
  • Excellent written/oral communication skills for reports and presentations
  • Proven track record for planning, executing, monitoring and closing projects
