TITLE: Sr. Project Scheduler

LOCATION: Remote

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Temporary – 12+ months

PAY RANGE: $60 - $65 +/hr DOE

ROLE: We are seeking a Senior Project Scheduler that will have responsibility for supporting planning and scheduling efforts of our advance reactor projects. This candidate must have the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with a high volume of interruptions, develop and progress the schedule, integrate and validate teaming partners and subcontractor updates, follow-up on tasks and report schedule trends and metrics, and process project change notices into the control schedule.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Evaluate project schedule progress and performance and identify developing problem areas.
• Support P6 administration functions to ensure EPP data, global code fields, baseline copies and data interface to other applications are maintained properly.
• Identify and communicate variances from the original plan and weekly baseline snapshots.
• Analyze critical path and constraints to determine the effect of progress changes to schedule and recommend solutions to ensure baseline key milestones are achieved.
• Regularly update and provide weekly progress reports, layouts and publication of the master schedule.
• Assist with the facilitation of project review meetings, and project planning support as assigned and actively interact with project team members.
• Develop and maintain an integrated baseline lifecycle schedule in P6.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong communication skills desired.
• Strong analytical/problem solving skills, creative thinker.
• Experience in MS Power BI Service, Oracle BI or other data analytics platforms.
• Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 and EPPM application.
• Minimum of five years of project scheduling experience, preferably including work in R&D, engineering and/or Department of Energy (DOE O 413.3B) projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent

BONUS QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience using Microsoft Project Online a bonus.
• PMP, PMI-SP or AACE certificate is preferred.
• Experience with Atlassian tools such as Confluence and JIRA a bonus.
