TITLE: Electrical Project Coordinator

LOCATION: Remote

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Contract – 12+ months

PAY RANGE: $60 - $70 /hr + DOE

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking a Remote Electrical Project Coordinator for an innovative energy company working to develop technologies that provide, safe, affordable, carbon-free energy.

• Gather status reporting from design teams and manage updates to project reporting venues.
• Manage detailed schedule logic tie interfaces for activities within the ICE design and ICE testing team, as well as the external logic links to other design team areas. Create and track milestones alignment to task activities.
• Initiate and facilitate change process approvals for new and emerging engineering activities consistent with project scheduling standards.
• In the ICE area, work with the Cost Account Manager (CAM) & Project Account Engineer (PAE) to manage modifications to the high-level engineering schedule through interfaces to project controls organization on behalf of engineering.
• Interface with design disciplines (such as mechanical, instrumentation and controls, civil, and nuclear) to identify predecessors and successors needed for schedule activities.
• Work with the CAM to drive the ICE project schedule activities through regular schedule review meetings
• Lead planning efforts and maintain schedule adherence for design activities within a system, as well as their integration with an overall plant design delivery schedule.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 EPPM application.
• Minimum of five years of project scheduling experience, preferably including work in R&D, engineering and/or Department of Energy projects.
• MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Project.
• Strong analytical/problem solving skills, creative thinker.
• Exceptional attention to detail.

BONUS QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in the nuclear field is a plus.
• PMP or AACE certificate
• Experience with Atlassian tools such as Confluence and JIRA a bonus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, Construction Management, or equivalent degree is preferred.

To conform to U.S. Government International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), you must be a U.S. Citizen, Lawful Permanent Resident, or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) to meet the minimum qualifications for this position.
