Project Manager (Healthcare) - $95-100K

This Project Manager will spearhead Healthcare software implementations be accountable for project deliverables, scopes, kickoffs, and maintaining timelines. Keys to this role will be creating and maintaining a project plan, working collectively to estimate work effort and allocate resources, and delivering excellent customer service by building a strong and effective working relationship with the customer.

Note: we are looking for someone who has previously worked as a PM at a Healthcare company or Health Plan.

Key Responsibilities:

· This person will work on EST eastern time zone hours implementing our product onto healthcare clients

· Accountable for the successful completion of a project’s deliverables

· Leads a project team and serves as the primary contact for client implementations

· Documents project scope

· Manages changes in scope in accordance with change control procedures

· Develops, updates, and actively manages a comprehensive project plan, including tasks, start and end dates, work effort, resource assignments, milestones, and critical path

· Actively leads the project planning process, stages, and customer engagement

· Drives collaboration between functional teams and customers to achieve milestones and deliverables

· Ensures major decisions are documented and communicated

· Identifies and document issues. Works with project team to resolve

· Identifies and mitigates risks

· Documents actions items and verifies they’re completed

· Contributes to improving Project Management Office (PMO) processes

· Applies PMO standards and methods to deliver desired results

· Collaborates with managers and directors to secure resources for a project

· Coordinates and schedules meetings and onsite activities

· Facilitates meetings. Ensures agenda and minutes are published

· Responsible for ensuring project artifacts are stored in a location in line with company policies and are accessible by appropriate team members

· Manages resource bookings for assigned project(s)

· Responsible for reporting on the status of a project and escalating issues

· Drafts Statement of Work (SOW) or Change Request (CR) as appropriate

· Position may travel twice per quarter to clients or our Connecticut corporate office

Experience:

· 5 years of experience as a project manager in the healthcare, healthcare insurance, or healthcare software industry

· Experienced in project governance, capacity planning, and project budgeting

· Working knowledge of the healthcare (Medicaid, Medicare, and Commercial) preferred

· Strong experience with JIRA and Excel

· Some professional experience with technical tools like SQL, MySQL, MS Project, in Waterfall or Agile environments preferred

· Self-starter, with strong sense of ownership, assertive follow-through, and a passion for the highest level of customer satisfaction

· Some technical understanding: ability to demonstrate knowledge of software development life cycle, application design, integration, and hosting technologies

· Excellent verbal, organizational, and written skills

· Experience with practical application of Project Management Institute (PMI) global standards

· PMI certification (PMP) preferred
