Role: Construction Project Manager

Duration: Long term Contract

Location: Buffalo, NY

As a Construction Manager, you will lead critical construction projects at Tesla’s data center in Buffalo, NY. You’ll be working cross-functionally with various internal and external stakeholders, interfacing with end users, construction engineering, and manufacturing engineering while tracking the project schedule and overall success.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, walk down, and resolve issues that arise from the field.
• Provide clear, concise direction to trades helping prioritize efficient build-out.
• Evaluate, negotiate and process change orders, submittals and RFIs.
• Coordinate with the trades to sequence work adequately.
• Ensure on time, or ahead of time delivery of construction projects, solve problems and prioritize execution.
• Ability to evaluate construction drawings, create biddable work packages and validate contractor bids against cost/schedule estimates.
• Quickly respond to queries and resolve any technical barriers to completion.

Requirements:

·5-10 years of experience managing construction projects in large data center environments.

·Familiar with code compliance and building occupancy.

·Understands interdependent utility integration, e.g., completed wet-mech systems including installed, wired, and calibrated devices.
