Responsibilities include:
· Support efforts to address more efficient/accurate estimations throughout the design process and provide additional support in design development/progress meetings.
· Ensure that projects are completed within projected schedules and budgets, such as by assessing theperformance of contract management and project management across stakeholders.
· Works across Departments to ensure integration of cost and schedule-oriented data/systems for monitoring and tracking.
· Create reports and provide analysis for the Director and leadership through collaboration with Capital Plan Management, Finance and IT.
· Leverage the data, reports and analysis to refine the process for and automate (to the extent possible) the reconciliation of proposed/actual costs and schedules against budgets, scopes of work, estimates, bids/awards and contracts by project type.
· Provide information to stakeholders and IT to create better alignment across project types within SCA data systems.
· Support the Director in creating cost management/monitoring training for Architecture and Engineering (“A&E”) and Construction Management (“CM”) stakeholders managing projects.
· Participates in recommending unit, department, and enterprise-wide proposals for the Director and Chief Operating Officer.
· Assists in project delivery recommendations.
· Reviews projects, evaluate findings & establish scope of work recommendations and cost estimation parameters to ensure successful budgetary compliance.
· Research topics as needed and provide training to SCA.
· Performs related tasks.
Required:
· Strong Building Information Modeling (Revit) skills
· Bachelor’s Degree
· At least 4 years of experience in the architecture or construction background
· Strong cost management background, change management, or similar expertise.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Strong communication skills
· Ability to develop and/or lead presentations for different audiences.
· Project management designation (e.g. PMP) or past project management experience
Bachelors in any of the following: Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Operations, Supply Chain or a related field.
