Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager - 1344013

Requirements:
2+ years of Construction experience with a GC or in a similar capacity.
Types of project experience: Multifamily, Commercial, Education, Medical, or similar with project range from $10million - $20million.
Must be local to Albany region. (relocation not considered)
Responsibilities:
Work together with the Construction Management team, project architects, and field staff.
Accountable for the submission process and requests for information (RIF).
Control the work of trade contractors.
To maintain consistency of work, serve as the "information hub" for project to office and field staff.
To verify that the work conforms with the contract drawings and specifications, provide technical information to the project manager and superintendents.
Organize change orders, expedite supplies and tools for the job site, help with estimate creation, and gather information to aid in project progress analysis.
Regularly track and monitor project quality control metrics and actions.
Reports should be timely and accurate.
Verify that all components are in accordance with the plans and specifications by inspecting every work.
Make sure all project papers are up to date, complete, and properly preserved.
Salary and benefits: $60k - $80k
