Under the guidance of an advisor, youth focus on making an impact in the areas of substance abuse prevention and other concerns that affect their schools and communities. The program encourages young people to take responsibility by creating and coordinating activities and service projects that benefit their peers, schools, and communities. OCDE's Educational Services Division is currently seeking a passionate and dynamic individual to serve as Project Assistant, Friday Night Live. This professional will assist in the development, implementation, and coordination of Friday Night Live programs and provide training and technical assistance to Friday Night Live advisors and students in schools and community organizations. This position is grant funded through June 30, 2025. Requirements / Qualifications Education and Experience: Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in health, education, youth development, or a related field. Experience with student programs and the effective implementation of programs related to youth development, leadership, resiliency, health promotion, and/or alcohol, tobacco, and other drug prevention. Compensation & Benefits Classified Management, Range 7, 195 Days $4,806.72 - $5,860.63 monthly
