Job Details


Salesforce is looking for a highly effective team member to structure, lead, and deliver technically focused programs in support our Success Plan Sales Strategy and Operations organization. These programs address the immediate execution needs of the business, while also driving improvements and building tools that allow our business & systems to scale, optimize revenue, and improve the customer experience. The Programs Manager is responsible for all aspects of a program from inception to partner management, regular program performance reviews, organizational change, and review of program success. The role will require business analysis work as well as the ability to partner and collaborate with team members throughout Salesforce.


Programs will range from the very strategic to the very operational: Prepare data-driven insights & recommendations to evaluate business scenarios and business planning, segmentation, efficiency initiatives, process design, and technology tool development. Expectations range from program proposals, enablement plans, custom performance analysis, process documentation, and reporting and dashboards to presentation-ready content including business insights for senior Salesforce leadership. You will be asked to perform reporting, ask questions and answer them using Insights from what you find in the data.


The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of project management experience with increasing responsibility. Superb communication, process development, and reporting skills are a must. The Success Plans Programs Manager/Analyst must excel at problem-solving, feel comfortable diving into data, and be able to develop recommendations based on partner feedback to address business issues. Knowledge of Salesforce products desired or experience with comparable enterprise business technology tools. Business analysis background is a plus.


Responsibilities


  • Lead consultative engagements with business stakeholders on business goals, challenges, and data needed to support the strategy and proactively make recommendations.
  • Lead multiple complex and strategic projects and programs.
  • Communicate risk clearly and take the lead in developing resolution strategies; solicit executive involvement as required.
  • Leverage data and insights to define and support Success Plan process modifications and improvements and enable optimal business recommendations.
  • Provide management with complete transparency of scope, timeline, requirements, benefits, and return on investment for each project.
  • Manage partnerships with internal partners and vendors on projects.
  • Represent the Success Plans team on broader cross-functional projects involving other parts of the business as needed.
  • Partner closely with systems and IT organizations within Salesforce to execute technical aspects of projects or develop new tools to support our people and process.
  • Partner with enablement teams and field to ensure accurate training and change management for all program activities.

  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
  • Proven success in program or project management related to business processes, business metrics, business systems, operations, and relationships between organizations within a large enterprise.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and deliver on-time results.
  • Get it-done attitude with a strong sense of team spirit.

For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $157,600 to $263,450.


For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $173,300 to $289,800.


For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $173,300 to $289,800.


For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $157,600 to $289,800.


Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
