About The Role


We are seeking a Program Manager to help contribute to the success of our Strategy and Business Operations team for ZHL. ZHL is still in its early stages, providing an opportunity to join a fast-growing group and apply your strategic mentality and operational expertise in a brand-new arena. You Will Get To:


  • Monitor progress on key initiatives and plans across the business – driving exceptional and timely results.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of rapid ‘test-and-learn’ pilots to test potential new technology, features, products, and services. Quickly identify learnings and partner with other leaders to apply and scale successful pilots.
  • Identify new opportunities to drive growth with a focus on the cross-business opportunities with our Premier Agent business.
  • Evaluate market intel and analyze data to develop solution-oriented action plans.
  • Serve as mortgage subject matter expert with cross-functional partners.
  • Develop, define, and operationalize ZHL programs (often ZHL and Premier Agent).
  • Maintain timely intelligence on consumer needs, market conditions, industry and regulatory trends, and competitors
  • Serve as owner of designated programs, driving end to end coordination, tracking and execution, working in close partnership with product, business and other cross-functional teams.
  • Provide clear, concise, and appropriate communication to senior management, business partners, and peers across the business.
  • Closely monitor market and partner-level success metrics and bring program and market performance and insights to life through data analysis and visualization
  • Maintain and improve documentation on current processes including gaps, opportunities, and variance across teams, with an eye toward improving multi-functional processes


This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role.


In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York City and Washington the standard base pay range for this role is $117,000.00 - $187,000.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York City and Washington and may not be applicable to other locations.


In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.


Who you are


  • 7+ years of relevant mortgage experience, with a background in origination, strategy or business operations in a fast-paced, rapidly-growing company.
  • Outstanding critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to influence
  • Strong project management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities, work through ambiguous problems, and align business partners
  • Mortgage subject matter expert, preferably focused on purchase and/or consumer direct origination.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint and Excel and/or Google G Suite
  • Organized, independent, flexible multi-tasker with keen attention to detail
  • Strong executive presence and verbal presentation and meeting facilitation skills
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving environment with contending projects and priorities
  • Good at collaborating, building positive relationships, and advancing business goals
  • Excellent written communication skills; demonstrated ability to share complex messages concisely to diverse audiences
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience recommended
  • May require 25% - 30% travel annually
