Job Description


Job Summary


Become a member of the Clinical Integration team as we guide the implementation of the Clinical Operations vision throughout the Molina enterprise. This position offers the opportunity to work with Molina leaders across the nation and ensure that new clinical projects are implemented while remaining aligned with the Clinical Operations’ organizational vision. The successful candidate will be a curious leader and passionate collaborator with the courage to chart the future of the department at an exceptional pace and achieve clinical excellence.


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities


Responsible for internal business projects and programs involving department or cross-functional teams of subject matter experts and functional area stakeholders, delivering products from initial strategy development, through design processes ultimately to completion. Below highlights the knowledge, skills and duties necessary for success:


  • Ability to travel as may be required.
  • Responsible for tracking and monitoring impact and the success of programs including but not limited to ROI.
  • Delivers the appropriate artifacts as needed.
  • Ability to monitor project implementations.
  • Analyzes data and trends with the goal of providing recommendations on project planning.
  • The role functions as an active collaborator with people who are responsible for internal Clinical Operations projects and directs schedules as well as project budgets.
  • Fulfills those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Molina for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Company or Clinical Operations Department.
  • Facilitates discussions with leaders and other stakeholders with the goal of managing the team in planning and executing new projects, ensuring consistent messaging and open communication, and securing buy-in.
  • Serves as the subject matter expert in getting Clinical Operations projects planned and off the ground.
  • Communicates and collaborates with customers to analyze and transform needs and goals into functional requirements.
  • Maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Validates the business process to ensure that the team is on target.
  • May engage and oversee the work of external vendors.


The position’s primary focus is the lens of monitoring the thoughtful planning of Clinical Operations projects. Focuses on standardization, consulting, organizational change management, program management and other processes relative to the business.


Job Qualifications


REQUIRED EDUCATION:


Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Required Experience/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities


  • 3-5 years of Program and/or Project management experience.
  • Experience partnering with different levels of leadership across the organization.
  • Healthcare experience.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project and Visio.
  • Operational Process Improvement experience.


Preferred Education


Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Public Administration or other health care field or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Preferred Experience


  • Experience working in a cross functional highly matrixed organization.
  • 2+ years experience in Managed Care
  • 5-7 years of Program and/or Project management experience.


Preferred License, Certification, Association


  • PMP, Six Sigma Green Belt, Six Sigma Black Belt Certification and/or comparable coursework desired.
