INTRODUCTION:

We are seeking a talented and experienced full-stack Product Marketing Director to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective product marketing strategies to drive adoption and revenue growth for ABC IGNITE, the leading gym management software in the industry. Reporting to the Vice President, Platform Marketing, you will lead a product marketing function that will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and marketing, to deliver compelling messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies for our solution in the fitness market.

  • Support marketing campaigns and demand generation: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns, including email marketing, content marketing, webinars, events, and social media campaigns. Monitor campaign performance and optimize strategies based on data insights.
  • Go-to-market planning and execution: Develop and execute go-to-market plans for new product launches, feature releases, and major updates. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and successful product launches, including coordinating marketing campaigns, sales enablement, and customer communications.
  • Product feedback and market insights: Gather customer feedback, market insights, and industry trends to continuously improve our gym management software. Collaborate with product management to prioritize feature enhancements and identify new market opportunities.
  • Market and competitive analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to understand the fitness industry landscape, customer needs, market trends, and key competitors. Leverage insights to position our software effectively and differentiate it in the market.
  • Develop and execute product marketing team and strategies: Create and drive consensus on comprehensive product marketing strategies that align with business goals, target customer segments, and market trends. Drive awareness, adoption, and revenue growth for our gym management software across the entire product marketing department.
  • Content creation and collateral development: Create high-quality marketing content, including product collateral, sales presentations, website content, blog posts, case studies, and whitepapers. Tailor messaging to various buyer personas and stages of the customer journey.
  • Customer advocacy and testimonials: Identify satisfied customers and facilitate the creation of customer success stories, testimonials, and case studies. Leverage these assets to showcase the benefits and impact of our gym management software and drive customer advocacy.
  • Product positioning and messaging: Craft compelling value propositions, product positioning, and messaging that resonate with target customers. Clearly articulate the unique benefits and features of our gym management software to drive customer interest and preference.
  • Sales enablement: Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales enablement tools, such as sales training materials, product demos, FAQs, and competitive battle cards. Provide ongoing support to the sales team to ensure they have the necessary knowledge and resources to effectively sell the gym management software.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging and content.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful product marketing strategies.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in sales enablement and supporting sales teams with product knowledge and tools.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of the fitness industry and gym management software solutions.
  • 7+ years of experience in managing the product marketing function for a SaaS company.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct market research, competitive analysis, and interpret data to drive decision-making.
  • 3+ years of product marketing in the fitness, lifestyle, or health industries is preferred.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools, CRM systems.
