Product Development Coordinator (Fashion)

Role Overview:

Daze Denim is looking for a Product Development Coordinator that will serve a critical role in style development from design concept through production hand off. This role will be responsible for daily communication between internal departments as well as overseas partners. An ideal candidate will be resourceful, detail oriented, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude and working relationships.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Data entry support in various Excel Charts and PLM-type systems.
• Helps monitor, track, and check in samples from Proto stage through SMS stage.
• Assists the team to facilitate with day-to-day communication with overseas vendors.
• Send tech packs to factories in a timely manner; sending updates as necessary to reflect material and hardware changes.
• Help in creating & maintaining PD development binder and sample rack for pass off to production.
• Supports the development process by creating and maintaining seasonal development WIP.
• Communicate with factory partners on all aspects of product development, including wash samples, fabric sourcing requests, lab dips, and trim developments.
• Collaborate with Design, Merchandising, Production, and external vendors to effectively execute product.

Professional skills, experience, and attributes:

• Highly organized with excellent follow through skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects.
• Denim experience is a plus, but not required.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Have a sense of urgency in managing time and accomplishing tasks.
• Must be willing to work in office 5 days a week (this position is not remote).
• 1-2 years apparel industry experience is preferred but not required.

Salary Range: $47,500 - $57,000
