SKIMS Junior Copywriter
SKIMS is a solutions-oriented brand creating the next-generation of underwear, loungewear, and shapewear.
We set new standards with our game-changing product and are a driving force within pop-culture. We are looking for a Junior Copywriter to join us in advancing the industry forward.
The Junior Copywriter position will write and edit copy for a variety of projects including but not limited to marketing emails, product descriptions and SMS/site copy while assisting the Copy Manager/Director to keep the SKIMS voice consistent across all channels.

Responsibilities
Reporting to our Copy Manager/Director, the Jr. Copywriter will help develop copy for a variety of projects including but not limited to: marketing emails, product descriptions, SMS, copy and site related copy
Understand, develop and enhance SKIMS’ tone of voice to be used across all branded assets.
Collaborate with the creative and ecommerce team on a variety of assets, keeping the company’s functional and larger business goals in mind.
Participate in the marketing meeting once a month, a collection brief meeting once a week, and digital creative priority meetings twice a week.
Work alone and partner with the creative and ecommerce teams to develop ideas and compelling storylines for customers.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
3 to 4 years copywriting experience in fashion, digital agency or creative role
Compelling portfolio with a range of creative projects that include a strong understanding of voice, clarity and originality.
Impeccable attention to detail and organization skills
A solid command of English grammar, spelling and vocabulary.
Ability to write extremely concise, compelling copy that excites customers and drives sales/clicks.
A deep understanding of social media and pop culture as well as audience behaviors and writing styles across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, X, Threads, etc.
Proficiency with Asana, Outlook, and Dropbox
Understanding of the creative process including video, digital and social disciplines
Ability to work autonomously, be proactive, and meet tight deadlines with an enthusiastic, can-do attitude in a fast-paced environment.
Must be on site in the LA office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
Hiring Range
$60,000 - $65,000 a year
