Product Development Assistant Jobs

SKIMS is a solutions-oriented brand creating the next-generation of
underwear, loungewear, and shapewear.
We set new standards with our game-changing product and are a driving
force within pop-culture. We are looking for a Production Development
Assistant to join us in advancing the industry forward.
Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Production Team by transitioning off styles/collections information as PO’s are placed.
• Participate in weekly CFT meetings.
• File fabric headers, lab dips, strike off and trims according to season.
• Sample management – requesting, checking in, and delivering samples/protos to appropriate CFT.
• Provide general administrative support, such as organizing samples and preparing presentation materials.
• Develop relationship with supplier base to ensure samples, TNA, and costing are being passed according to calendar.
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure accurate and timely execution of designs, taking into consideration cost and quality.
• Support the Design team with Bill of Materials (BOM) in our PLM system.
• Creating and maintaining Seasonal WIP documents
• Assist in sourcing fabric and trims for each season.
• Assist in tracking trim and color approvals for the season.
• Assist in gathering first round of costing during the development process and logging in WIP.

Requirements

• College degree preferred.
• Detail oriented and organized.
• Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Sense of urgency and willingness to learn with positive attitude.
• Minimum 1 year experience in fashion development or production

$21-25 per hour
