Product Information Copywriter Jobs

About The Role

We are seeking an entry-level, self-starter, and detail-oriented Product Information Copywriter who is passionate about the brands and products we sell. In this role, you will own ensuring products look great on our site by entering and maintaining product data, quality checking images, and writing creative descriptions.

The right candidate will have extremely strong attention to detail, excellent organization and time management skills, the ability to work productively and professionally with others, and a passion for fashion and the products and brands we sell. The ideal candidate will also have experience working with product information systems and writing creative copy.

This is an entry-level, hourly, full-time, on-site position in Los Angeles, CA

Responsibilities

• Coordinate product launches with Buying, Photo, and Site Merchandising teams
• Confirm when products are complete and ready to publish on the site
• Write effective SEO meta titles and urls for products
• Verify and maintain accuracy of product information and images; identify issues and work with Buying and Photo teams to resolve them
• Enter product information including product materials, care, etc.
• Write creative product descriptions and titles

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and web-based software systems; capability to quickly learn new software systems
• High attention to detail and sense of urgency; ability to solve problems and identify patterns/root causes
• Ability to work productively with other teams and maintain professional communication and a positive attitude when faced with obstacles
• Obsession with fashion and/or passion for streetwear, specifically the brands and products we sell at Dolls Kill
• Excellent organization and time management skills including managing multiple priorities to hit deadlines
• 1-2 years experience working in retail, e-commerce, or publishing
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)

Preferred Requirements

• Copy writing experience
• Experience maintaining product data in product information systems; experience with RetailOps a plus
