Product Development Specialist Jobs

The Role:

We are seeking a motivated Product Development Specialist to join our talented and nimble team. This role will require working within our product development team in calendar development and tracking. You will also be working closely with the design and technical design teams in delivering product from conception to finalization, leading the ownership of sample organization in office.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a time and action calendar throughout the season to keep development running on track
• Manage and help the PD Coordinator in maintaining the organization of in-house samples
• Mitigate risks of running off schedule through communication with the factories and product teams
• Take on additional product development related projects as needed
• Communicate daily with overseas vendors
• Cooperate with cross functional teams to ensure seamless transition from development to production
• Adhere to all milestones and deadlines and complete work in a timely manner

Required Skills and Education:

• Self-motivated and works well in a fast-paced environment
• Degree in Apparel Product Development/Technical Design, Textiles or Related Field
• Knows Microsoft Suite (Excel)
• 5+ years of experience in Product Development
• Strong communication skills with timely follow through
• Must have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Strong organizational skills
