TEAM OVERVIEW
KKR’s Global Finance team oversees the firm’s tax compliance, credit and accounting, and reporting matters to produce analytical insights that drive business decisions and long-term success. The team is responsible for designing efficient frameworks through internal and external data and reports to understand the market environment and business dynamics and implement best practices. The team also collaborates closely with KKR’s Legal and Compliance team to ensure compliance and accurate reporting and performance of our corporate tax entities related to our investment funds. The Global Finance team also functions as a support for clients, from onboarding to investor communications and overall relationship management across all asset class, as well as responding to any ad-hoc tax-related requests

- Proactively support internal/external clients on a timely basis demonstrating a willingness to partner and establish strong professional relationship with all areas of KKR
- Produce work that is thorough and meticulous; attend to all necessary details; deliver timely results
- Serve as an active participant in the day to day operations of the Management Company Finance team, focused on the Private Markets (Private Equity, Infrastructure, Real Estate, Energy, etc.)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Management Company
- Assisting with the calculation and allocation of management fees, management fee offsets, transaction fees, monitoring fees
- Assisting with analytic reviews of financial data
- Booking of journal entries in ledger (SAP)
- Work closely with the team to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results of the Private Markets Management Company
- Work on various ad-hoc projects for firmwide initiatives
- Assist in expense allocations of expenses paid on behalf of the funds and other investment vehicles
- Work closely with auditors for financial statement audit requests as well as SOX requests
- Core financial statement line items (Cash, A/R, Fixed Assets, Other Assets, P&L)
- Specific tasks may include, but are not limited to:
QUALIFICATIONS
- Undergraduate focus on Accounting preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; presents ideas clearly and concisely
- Self-starter with goal-oriented management of tasks and responsibilities
- Critical thinking; excellent judgment; quick learner and able to adapt to new challenges
- Technology savvy with the ability to navigate various systems
- Highly developed planning and organizational skills; able to anticipate change, adjust responses accordingly and initiate steps to maximize resources toward a common objective
- Ability to manage a high volume of work and prioritize tasks and projects according to what is most time-sensitive
- Team player capable of working in a way that reflects the Firm’s core values and principles
