2024 MARKETS FULL-TIME ANALYST PROGRAM – RESEARCH

What to expect
One of the world’s most highly respected advisory franchises, J.P. Morgan’s fundamental and quantitative research has earned top rankings in surveys by Institutional Investor. We provide thoughtful and differentiated fundamental analyses on sectors and companies and actionable ideas and thematic insights that empower our clients to make well-informed investment and strategic decisions.
From day one, you’ll build your technical skills through extensive training. You’ll participate in training in New York for four weeks of instruction in statistics, economics, credit analysis, valuation, financial modeling and more. Through hands-on experiences, you’ll learn about the various assets classes – equities, credit, foreign exchange, commodities and emerging markets.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Performing detailed valuation work
- Advising internal and external clients, corporates and management teams
- Writing research notes, sector pieces, industry and market overviews
- Analyzing complex data sets
- Modeling financial statements and industry dynamics
- Assessing relevant news events
About you
Research is fast-paced, demanding and intellectually stimulating. We look for candidates who are eager to learn, inquisitive, and curious and possess strong critical thinking, quantitative, and communication skills.
Program Requirements:
- Experience with three-statement modeling, forecasting, and valuation
- Attend college/university in the U.S.
- Genuine interest in financial markets and economic data and trends
- Minimum preferred cumulative GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
- Authorization to work in the U.S. (Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S)
