Events Intern Jobs

Based in the New York Corporate Office, Events Intern support Communications department in public relations, marketing & events throughout The Americas to maximize brand exposure provide qualitative brand experiences. Majority of day to day will be administrative and reporting oriented. Intern applicants should have a passion for Givenchy, LVMH, and the luxury industry.

Job Responsibilities:

Events

Support Marketing & Events Specialist in Event organization and production

Aspects of above include:

• Stay up to date on cultural events and happenings throughout North America, including competitor research
• Maintenance of Givenchy in-house Vendor Database & Calendar events (Regional, Celebrity, Social, National Holidays, Cultural)
• Assist with closet maintenance and event supply inventory
• Work on-site during local events
• Activity Reports (Pre-Event & Post-Event Recaps)

Marketing

• Support Director of Marketing & Communications in upcoming initiatives
• Compile calendar of events and relevant opportunities across all markets (local charity, notable events, etc.)

Press in tandem with PR Agency

• Liaise with PR Agency to support Sample Traffic & Credit Requests
• Maintenance of Givenchy in-house collateral Database/Server: Runway Collection Images, Product shots, VIP, etc.
• Maintenance of Givenchy in-house Contact Database (Media, Advertising, etc.)
• Monthly Maintenance & Distribution of Magazines (receiving, processing, archiving all credits)

Administrative & Office Related

• Expenses
• Scheduling & Travel for Team

Qualifications:

• Must be available to work in the New York City office 3 days a week from 9AM – 6PM.
• Strong communication skills
• Candidate must be a student in the New York City area
• Previous internship experience in public relations & events and/or digital marketing at a major fashion brand or PR agency.
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office, Google Analytics
• Positive, hardworking team player
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Organized and detail oriented.
