Job Summary:

Synechron is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager with Capital Markets experience.

Role description:

• Manage book of works and acuteness to understand the nature of the tasks
• Co-ordination with cross functional team
• Assist with costs and financial management
• Clearly identify risk and dependencies
• Assist the Program team with resources and budgets, works with project teams and other stakeholders to understand complex problems and focuses on bringing issues to resolution, escalating as necessary to meet timelines
• Consult with key stakeholders and teams to establish appropriate strategy, methods and plans for procedures and processes as well as ad-hoc initiatives (e.g. Business Mgmt)
• Develop reports for management of progress, issues and outcomes

Ideal background:

• Project/Program management in Financial Services/Capital Markets
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision; must be a self-starter and quick learner
• 7-10 years of enterprise project management experience
• Large scale environments
• Proficient in the use of a computer and the entire MS Office Suite, primarily Word, Excel, Visio, Powerpoint, Outlook

Essential skills/experience:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong problem-solving focus
• Very organized and detailed orientated
• Strong in designing processes and workflows to support day to day work
• Strong documentation skills

Other skills:

• Keeps a structured approach throughout the way of the engagement
• Self-organized
• Pro-actively identifying areas to tackle/solve and get on with it

Most important thing:

• Needs to get on with things and turn around deliverables in a short time frame
• Hungry to get things done and expand knowledge and network during the engagement

Basic Qualifications: Bachelor degree

• Can work in virtual teams spanning multiple time zones
