Job Description
Are you passionate about creating unforgettable experiences and wowing guests with exceptional service? We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Private Event Sales Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in supporting our regional Private Event Sales Team and growing our Private Dining business. Your primary focus will be communicating event details with both our local Restaurant Management team and our valued guests. Essential Job Functions
As a Private Event Sales Coordinator, you will have a variety of exciting responsibilities that contribute to the success of our Private Dining business. Your key duties will include:
Engaging with Private Dining guests via phone and email to confirm event details and promptly address any questions or concerns using our Tripleseat discussion templates and event contract.
Demonstrating expert knowledge and proficiency in our event booking management software, ensuring seamless interactions with guests and Restaurant Management.
Facilitating clear communication of event details to the local Restaurant Management team, validating information, menu preferences, and answering any inquiries.
Following up with guests after events to ensure their complete satisfaction, leaving a lasting positive impression.
Maintaining detailed records of guest interactions, contact information, and transactions using our reservation system and Tripleseat platform.
Generating and providing reports for each Private Event Coordinator (PEC) and the National PD Team as required.
Assisting in coordinating catering and private dining menu requests to create unforgettable dining experiences.
Being a reliable backup for regional Private Event Teams in other locations or restaurants as needed, showcasing your flexibility and dedication.
Successfully managing the pipeline of inquiries, prospects, tentative and definite bookings to keep our events calendar thriving.
Collaborating with the Private Event Sales Team to generate new business and nurture existing accounts, fostering long-term relationships.
Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

A passion for providing top-notch customer service, ensuring our guests have unforgettable experiences with us.
Experience with Tripleseat software is a plus, but don't worry if you're new to it - we provide training!
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook to handle administrative tasks effectively.
Strong keyboarding and data entry skills, both alpha and numeric, to maintain accurate records.
Problem-solving skills that enable you to think quickly and handle challenging situations with a smile.
The ability to maintain professionalism and courtesy while handling difficult clients or customers over the phone.
A self-motivated and independent approach to work, paired with exceptional organizational skills.
A friendly and polite demeanor, helping you establish and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and guests alike.
An enthusiastic and enjoyable attitude, infusing excitement into the events you coordinate.
A willingness to adapt to a flexible work schedule, including some weekends during peak seasons to ensure exceptional guest responsiveness.
Education And Work Experience
To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or communications is preferred.
Previous experience (1+ years) in event or private dining coordination is a valuable asset.
Familiarity with the hospitality industry (1-2 years) or restaurant experience is a plus.
An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
Physical Demands
This position involves various physical activities, including sitting, standing, walking, talking, and hearing for extended periods throughout the day. Occasional climbing, lifting, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching may be required. Additionally, working on a computer and handling paperwork is a regular part of the job.

Compensation
We value our team members and offer competitive compensation for the Private Event Sales Coordinator position, ranging from $21 to $23 per hour.
