They're currently seeking a Preconstruction Manager to work on high profile programs ($20M - $1B) across California. The Preconstruction Manager will lead billion-dollar programs and will oversee a team of highly experienced cost consultants.

Daily duties

• Prepare accurate construction and project cost estimates from conceptual design through project close out
• Develop proposals and assist in presentations as necessary
• Assign and coordinate scope of work with estimating staff for each project to ensure job quality and profitability
• Lead and manage the estimating team in both the office and the field
• Prepare and review conceptual estimates on multi-million/billion-dollar projects using past experience, historical data and parametric estimating ratios

Qualifications

• Accredited CPE, RICS, or AACE accreditation preferable (not required)
• Knowledge of the California construction market
• Experience managing a team of estimators
• Ability to work effectively with engineers and owners
• BSc in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering preferred
• 12+ years of preconstruction estimating experience in a variety of building projects (such as medical, aviation, schools, etc.) with projects in excess of $100M.
