Job Description

We’re Mvnifest, a leading full-stack product development, operational intelligence, and 3PL platform. We design, engineer, source, manufacture, manage, and fulfill products from DTC to retail.

In the Project Manager role, you play a vital role in coordinating and managing projects for our industrial design, creative, and manufacturing services. From ensuring daily status updates for our customers to creating comprehensive scopes of work, you will serve as the central hub between our team and our clients.

An important aspect of this position is rooted in direct client communication, video conferences, agenda planning, internal and external emails recapping projects and sharing status updates, circulating and managing information across several business units and stakeholders, and beyond. You’ll also collaborate with designers to create client-facing deliverables such as design decks, new business presentations, and technical updates.

Our ideal teammate is motivated, super organized, and responsive. You also have excellent communication skills, and are comfortable with a high degree of diplomacy. You'll fit here if you have an internal drive for growth and excellence. We have room for growth in our design department, and we are excited to see what fresh ideas you bring to the table and how you maximize the opportunities we already have.

Who you are:

  • You’re confident and comfortable speaking independently on the phone/screen to clients.
  • You consider yourself a perfectionist
  • You’re comfortable in a remote environment and don’t mind being on screen for several hours a day
  • You’re such a great writer that you’ve thought about writing as a career path (there may be an opportunity for some copywriting in this role!)
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit; you say yes more than you say no. You’re down to work really hard but can also unplug and recharge when you need to!

What you'll be doing here:

  • Prioritize key clients and manage a constant communication stream of project updates
  • Manage and execute accurate and concise communications for multiple clients (and internal team) through meeting agendas, meeting notes, and email correspondence
  • Manage internal and client Asana boards, tasks, and deadlines
  • Monitor project budgets and manage client billing
  • Manage physical product development projects from inception to completion, balancing multiple internal and client projects simultaneously, in collaboration with the Director of Design Operations
  • Oversee resource management alongside the VP of Design

Requirements:

  • Attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics
  • Project management experience in Asana, Jira, or similar software
  • High adaptivity, with the ability to create alignment among competing priorities and pivot quickly in response to new opportunities
  • Strong analytics capabilities relating to profit margins, business trends, market segmentation, research and trends, market research, opportunity assessment, product lines, and product line planning
  • Customer service or account communication experience with a high level of written and verbal polish
  • 3-5 years of experience in product development and manufacturing, ideally in consumer goods

At Mvnifest, we embrace diversity and equal opportunity in a serious way. We’re committed to building a diverse and well-rounded team from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. We encourage applicants of all backgrounds and experiences to apply. This job is fully remote, and interfaces with our teams in California, Chicago, NYC, and China on a daily basis.

A little more about our team: We’re hungry. We’re organized. We’ve got extreme attention to detail. We’re always on. We’re never not helpful. We’re invested in how the work gets done. We’re willing and able to extract additional detail from stakeholders so that the work can reach its potential. We don’t sit around and wait for anything; we find the next opportunity for a win, and we go for it. And if most of that describes you too, we really want to meet you.
