Description


American Specialty Health Incorporated is seeking a Practitioner Education Rep to join our Provider Relations (PRL) department. This position will perform secret shopper surveys and make outbound calls to educate contracted practitioners of their contractual obligations ensuring compliance with all State, Federal, and ASH requirements while maintaining a high degree of professionalism and providing excellent customer service. The position will support, develop, and maintain service relationships with all newly contracted and existing practitioners to support high practitioner satisfaction levels.


Remote Worker Considerations


Candidates who are selected for this position will be trained remotely and must be able to work from home in a designated work area with company-provided technology equipment. This remote/WFH position requires you have a stable connection to your Internet Service Provider with the ability to participate by video in online meetings over a reliable and consistent network (minimum internet download of 50 Mbps and 10 Mbps upload speed).


Responsibilities


  • Conduct regular Secret Shopper Surveys to ensure compliance with regulatory and health plan requirements.
  • Execute trainings according to organization onboarding policies and procedures through outreach to newly contracted practitioners including the completion of required training attestations.
  • Performs other duties and ad-hoc projects as assigned.
  • Assist with implementation and setup of monthly webinars.
  • Participate and attends department and all-staff meetings to increase knowledge and foster teamwork.
  • Provider Training Assistance
  • Monitor trends of practitioner feedback during practitioner orientation to identify potential areas for training, support, and process enhancement.
  • Makes recommendations to management for process improvements based on practitioner feedback.
  • Interacts with practitioners/staff supporting campaign webinar and education activities.
  • Work with Recruiting and Clinical Dept with upkeep of webinar slides.
  • Monitor and Track webinar comments and questions to identify trends and areas to of improvement
  • Send out emails and track incoming letters from the Provider Education inbox
  • Outreach and educate contracted practitioners to ensure compliance is met.
  • Provides general administrative support, including confidential correspondence and distributing practitioner notices via fax, email, and mail.
  • Provider Education Webinar Assistance and Compliance Training
  • Works closely with managers and staff to ensure deadlines are met and provides routine and complex administrative support for the department.
  • Maintain and update Provider videos in the Provider Education Library.
  • Assist Program Manager with Provider Education Webinars


Qualifications


  • Minimum two years of progressive experience performing customer service duties.
  • Proficient in MS Office with experience in word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Specialty health care or health care experience preferred.
  • Associate degree preferred. High school diploma required.

Physical Requirements


Ability to speak, see and hear other personnel and/or objects. Ability to communicate both in verbal and written form. Ability to travel within the facility. Capable of using a telephone and computer keyboard. Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
