The position is at a health tech company. By fostering an excellent team member experience and serving as a champion for both team members and their leaders, a People Operations Business Partner exemplifies our culture and core values. They provide the organization with a full range of strategic and tactical HR support and programs, including advising on various management issues affecting the employee experience and educating team members on engagement and wellbeing practices, labor relations, performance management, and career development. The People Operations Business Partner will work closely with business executives (primarily Directors of Ecosystems) in this role to provide comprehensive human resources support and guidance, with the ultimate goal of raising talent levels across the region and coordinating human capabilities with corporate goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish a learning environment that fosters on-the-job possibilities and evaluate development needs.
- Create and work on the designated unique and cross-functional projects.
- Make sure you have a thorough awareness of the organizations you support, including important roles and procedures.
- Assist with employee relations concerns as necessary by collaborating closely with our employee relations partners.
- Keep track of employee metrics and other data, report to management, and make recommendations for programs and/or improvements as needed.
- Actively collaborate with leaders on people strategy through workforce planning, organizational design, and structure to create an inspiring and motivating workplace culture.
- In order to comprehend current and future goals and trends that could have an influence on workforce needs and efforts, support and collaborate with business teams.
- Utilize your coaching abilities to help managers with issues related to performance and development.
- Recognize the region's needs for training and development, and serve as a liaison for the Talent and Learning division to procure or provide the necessary training for the area.
- Transform the priorities of the org into a strategy that has an impact on the business and collaborate on cross-functional teams as a lead and a supportive team member.
- Assist in creating, organizing, and putting into practice engagement programs, procedures, and activities to support executives in fostering business culture and ensuring a great workplace.
- The identification of talent, leadership development priorities, and succession plans should be led by suitable talent planning initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience supporting a multi-level and multi-state organization in an HRBP or comparable capacity. Ideal would be veterinary industry experience.
- The capacity to quickly mobilize and manage internal and external resources to mitigate risks and Thrive.
- Ability to coach, mentor, and provide advice as necessary to help managers and team members advance in line with both professional and personal objectives.
- Possibility of forming trusting relationships and cooperating with colleagues in people operations and management.
- Working knowledge is advantageous.
- Impeccable judgment and the capacity to manage many stakeholders while striking the perfect balance between the needs of the business and the needs of the employees.
- Foundational knowledge of human resources analytics, practical expertise with HR technologies and processes, and the capacity to grasp how planned and actual actions affect leadership decisions.
- Strong interpersonal communication abilities, including the ability to coach, facilitate, educate, and listen to all levels of leadership.
- Innovative, resourceful, self-driven, and able to take charge on their own.
- Adaptable and flexible in light of shifting organizational needs and priorities.
