Payroll Timekeeper Jobs

Job Summary

The Timekeeper will perform a variety of tasks to include timesheet audit, review and sign off, using Upstate, New York State and Research Foundation payroll systems. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to providing support for payroll time reporting, time accruals, employee leave posting/tracking, light scanning, filing and indexing documents as well as other duties as assigned. The Payroll Timekeeper will need to understand and keep current with State, Research, and bargaining unit rules related to time reporting.

Minimum Qualifications

Three years of secretarial/administrative experience or Associate's degree and one year of experience required OR an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Excellent organizational skills, computer skills, and strong customer service skills required; excellent written/oral communication skills required. Computer skills and keyboarding are necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in State Payroll, SUNY Upstate experience preferred

Monday - Friday, 8:00-4:00
