Who are we looking for?
As our Payroll & HR Specialist, you will manage the global payroll function and ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations, filing requirements and labor laws. You will serve as a day-to-day HR and payroll resource for employees, on all levels, be responsible for accurate benefits administration as well as providing HR generalist services to the business, as needed. This role will report into the Finance department.
What you’ll do
- Assist with benefit enrolments for new team members, respond to benefit inquiries and assist with the qualifying process and offboarding;
- Assist with audits and verification of payroll related data;
- Complete all full-cycle payroll activities for multiple payrolls, for the global operations, on a monthly and semi-monthly basis (region dependent);
- Accurately enter and maintain employee related information in the HRIS and the payroll systems;
- General finance payroll and HR duties, as necessary.
- Maintain digital documentation and records;
- Provide standard and ad-hoc HR reporting as needed;
- Take the lead on the annual 401(k) and Workers Comp audits with state and federal compliance reporting, as required;
- New Hires onboarding and coordination with managers during the process;
- Responsible for responding to reference requests;
What you’ll bring
- Recent hands-on experience with Rippling, Ceridian and Sage payrolls and HRIS systems highly beneficial;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
- Demonstrated initiative, self-reliance and autonomy;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to demonstrate tact and diplomacy.
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance;
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion as well as utilize sound independent judgement;
- Ability to work under tight deadlines;
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills;
- Bachelor's degree in HR, business, a related field or relevant experience (Payroll certifications would be beneficial);
- 5+ years of experience processing complex payrolls and general HR administration, preferably for multiple geographies;
