Position Overview

As a Partnerships Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and managing strategic partnerships for the company. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, negotiate, and establish collaborative relationships with external organizations, businesses, and individuals to drive growth, revenue, and brand visibility. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of partnership initiatives and contribute to the overall business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

Partnership Development

  • Research and analyze market trends, competitor partnerships, and industry opportunities.
  • Develop a pipeline of potential partnership opportunities and maintain a database of potential partners.
  • Initiate contact and engage in negotiations with potential partners to establish mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Identify potential partners based on strategic alignment and business goals.


Contract Negotiation and Management

  • Monitor and manage ongoing partnerships to ensure compliance and track performance against agreed-upon metrics.
  • Collaborate with legal and finance teams to draft, review, and negotiate partnership agreements and contracts.
  • Ensure that all partnerships adhere to legal and regulatory requirements and align with the company's policies and values.


Relationship Management

  • Foster strong relationships with existing partners to deepen and expand the collaboration.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for partners, addressing inquiries, concerns, and escalations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the smooth implementation of partnership initiatives.


Strategic Planning and Execution

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create joint marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns.
  • Work with product development teams to explore and implement potential product integrations and joint offerings.
  • Develop and implement a strategic partnership plan to achieve company objectives.


Requirements:

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience working in sustainability or climate change domain in North America/Europe markets
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree is a plus).
  • Knowledge of sustainability industry and market trends.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) in partnership development, strategic alliances, or business development roles.
