CLINICAL PARTNERSHIP SPECIALIST

The Healthcare Solutions Specialist is primarily responsible for prospecting sales and qualifying leads for the company. As the face of our company, the Healthcare Solutions Specialist will be responsible for communicating our mission and values to new referral sources, establishing referral pipelines, and generating engagement in social platforms.
The Healthcare Solutions Specialist must be willing to travel according to the marketing/business development plan and expect to travel at least 50% of the time. This position will report directly to Senior Leadership with opportunities for advancement for highly enthusiastic and internally motivated individuals as we continue to grow our healthcare business development team.
The candidatemusthave a behavioral health sales background and be familiar with both inpatient and outpatient settings and the behavioral health market.
Responsibilities:
- Manage current accounts by staying in contact with existing accounts or leads and create brand awareness, and educational opportunities, and request referrals.
- Act as a liaison between IPC and the client base through the contracting and implementation process.
- Enhance customer support by answering calls and emails from clients, identifying the issue, and making referrals to appropriate team members.
- Partner to help manage Social Media accounts with Marketing Team.
- Travel is estimated at least 50% (with some overnights included) on average and may be higher during certain times of the year.
- Expand lead generation through cold calling, business-to-business selling, face-to-face contact, and other methods to identify and acquire new client partnerships.
- Present to current and prospective clients in a way that promotes the company brand and mission, and helps the audience identify the need for our services.
- Research target demographics, economic trends, client needs & interests, and other useful data.
- Collaborate with team members from other departments to identify practice improvements, modifications, or changes that could enhance overall performance for our clients.
- Coordinate with our Practice Director and Marketing Team for in-person meetings, conferences, continuing education opportunities, and other events.
Qualifications include:
- Understanding of sales performance metrics.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with good organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree (preference in healthcare-related degree).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Suites.
- 2+ years of experience in account management or business-to-business positions in behavioral healthcare sales.
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls).
- A passion for behavioral health and wellness with multiyear direct behavioral healthcare sales experience.
- Experience interacting with psychiatric inpatient hospitals, mental health outpatient clinics, and other behavioral health treatment sites.
