The Partnership Relations Specialist Role is responsible for assisting the oversight of managing the strategic direction and overall partnership relationship building and operations, which includes existing and seeking new partnership opportunities. This role is to effectively and efficiently manage the communication and task oriented duties in developing and nurturing relationship building to broaden the ecosystem of resources and network for our member population, to drive engagement growth, to support a positive and impactful member experience in their cancer care journey. This role will report to the Chief of Staff/Head of Partnerships.

This is a 3 month internship role, with the option to be extended/converted to a full-time role based on the needs of the organization

Role And Responsibilities

• Assist with seeking, researching, vetting and outreaching to potential organizations seeking new partnerships opportunities, all while maintaining an effective and streamline of communication with all existing and prospective partners.
• Responds to general inquiries and questions from internal stakeholders, partners and nonprofit/patient ambassadors.
• Support with and managing existing partnership accounts, including entering and tracking communication and tasks.
• Under the Head of Partnership oversight, act as a liaison to the Engagement Team when inquiries or issues arise and/or assistance is needed.
• Support the Clinical team in relations to their member engagement tasks and assist with streamlining updates on new opportunities for partnership collaboration and resources

Qualifications And Education Requirements

Associates or Bachelor’s degree required plus 1-3 years of experience in customer service or client service role

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Required

• Ability to analyze complex problems, interpret operational needs, and develop integrated, creative solutions.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community.
• Experience with HubSpot platform is a plus
• Prior experience in working with a nonprofit setting is a plus
• Skilled in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
• Experience with project management, operations and procedures, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures for relationship building
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (i.e. excel, powerpoint, etc.)
• Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
• Working knowledge and understanding of the principles and processes of computerized business and operating systems.
• Ability to develop and present educational programs and/or workshops.
• Advanced analytical, evaluative, and objective critical thinking skills.
