Operational Reporting Analyst, Program Monitoring & Analytics

Position Narrative (Overview):

SageSure, the insurance first, tech-forward, capital-lite managing general underwriter that focuses on the underserved, preferred homeowners middle-market, is seeking an Operational Reporting Analyst. We seek a go-getter and strategic thinker to help grow and scale our business. This role will have significant interaction across our organization including with our executive leadership. Given the broad reach of this role, the candidate will need to work in a highly collaborative fashion and have an exceptional ability to build relationships.

What you’ll be doing:

• Analyze policies and premiums impacts for different book roll scenarios
• Ad-hoc initiatives as they arise
• Work with leadership to define the reporting necessary to monitor and analyze insurance program performance both operationally and financially
• Support remediation projects
• Control Reports to make sure all new programs, renewals, and book rolls are working as expected
• Create tracking reports to ensure new Underwriting restrictions are in place

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Solid understanding of programming languages SQL, R and Python
• Experience working with Confluence & JIRA
• Personal lines property insurance knowledge
• Experience working with DOMO, or other data visualization tool like PowerBI or Tableau
• Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, or Related Field
• Experience working with Alteryx
• 1-3 years of experience with reporting and analytics

Highly preferred candidates also have:

• Master’s degree in Statistics, Analytics, or related field
• Product Management Experience
