Position Description:

A key responsibility of the Finance Director of Data Analytics and Insights is to develop data-driven insights that provide value-added analysis and recommendations. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for leveraging data and advanced analytics to enhance business growth, efficiency, and decision making across various segments of the business. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies that will increase profitability. Additionally, the role requires understanding of market conditions and company capabilities.

Responsible for ensuring accuracy and proficiency in the entering and processing of all data and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic and synthesized insight, ideas, and actionable recommendations to enable better decisions for the business

• Explore new data assets and implement innovative analytics to ensure business has a competitive edge

• Analyze both internal and external data sources to obtain insights

• Identify key performance triggers and drivers to develop comprehensive competition strategies

• Provide insight and alternatives to complex challenges/problems

• Work with relevant internal functions to communicate information to all key stakeholders

• Participates in cross-functional teams to develop operations analysis tools/models and utilizes data sources and technology

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging trends in Market Research and Analytical methodologies

• Provides operational and policy recommendations based on the analysis to executive and senior leadership

• Develops robust business cases to support decision-making

• Creates process models for the field-based deployment of vision and high-level business concepts

• Analyzes new business requirements, identifies current performance, forecasts future state, isolates and plans for the most effective method

• Participates in long-range forecasting/budgeting activities as part of financial planning and analysis

• Identification and measurement of key business drivers, providing risk/opportunity inputs and operational decisions.

• Evaluation of technologies, customer feedback, and automation to identify opportunities for process and tool improvement.

Skill And Knowledge Needed:

• Minimum master’s degree Minimum have a bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience with data and business analytics
• Resolves any administrative and process issues within the Team.
• High level of job knowledge, accounting and organizational skills.
• Strong customer/quality service bias & 3PL .
• Excellent written, verbal communication skills .
• Extremely detail-oriented, with a high level of accuracy.
