  • AdventHealth Heart of Florida is a licensed 193-bed acute care hospital, coupled with outpatient services including imaging, rehab, lab and wound care, that has been serving the community for over 50 years.

The role you’ll contribute: Coordinates the department(s’) human resources and office responsibilities. Performs a wide range of administrative duties to support both back office and operational functions. Maintains HR records and ensures compliance. Coordinates department functions and events. Maintains interns’ and volunteers records. Responsible for the scheduling, routine maintenance, and event preparation of the conference rooms. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all

The value you’ll bring to the team:

  • Coordinates department HR functions. Maintains all HR records with a centralized system. Processes HR requests including recruitment, position change, job description and performance bonus, etc.
  • Coordinates with department managers to ensure compliance of all required employees requirements, such as, licenses, BARE Facts, 90-day and annual performance evaluations, TB tests, flu shot, CPR, safety survey, mandatory campus town hall and departmental meetings, etc. May engage and organize employees to actively participate in recommended activities like Employee Engagement Gallup Survey.
  • Organizes departmental meetings and coordinates all support functions. Coordinates employee events including employee recognition, birthday celebration, and other special events.
  • Responsible for ordering office supplies
Qualifications


The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed
:

  • Two years’ experience in office/secretarial work.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Good people skills and ability to engage employees.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
