Job Description
Summary


The Onboarding Coordinator will work closely with the Talent Acquisition Coordinator to own the process of establishing and maintaining daily contact with new hires until all tasks pertaining to their onboarding are completed. This role will serve as the final point of contact from the HR department in the hiring process.


Essential Job Functions


Assist in collection of onboarding paperwork, drug test orders, background screen orders, motor vehicle report orders, non-disclosure agreements and other essential new hires paperwork.


Own the process of obtaining I9 verification documents ahead of start dates to ensure all process hiring is completed prior to Day One.


Ensure compliance in all documentation required for new hires.


Work with hiring managers to keep approval processes moving to ensure hardware delivery, sign on information and user accounts are all running on schedule.


Inform employees of their first tasks (which apps to download, how to activate their accounts, how obtain job aides, etc.).


Craft and send emails with information regarding Day One, including work schedules, dress code and parking options.


Follow up with all new hires for 30 days Pulse Checks.


Support onboarding for all acquisitions as needed.


QUALIFICATIONS And EXPERIENCE


Exceptional communication skills.


Proven work experience as an HR Onboarding Specialist or in relevant HR role.


Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).


Basic knowledge of labor legislation and Human Resources compliance.


An ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
